At SoundOrbit, we know our site is only as good as its members. We’ve already assembled some truly impressive artists. Now we want to add you.

Below are our four introductory memberships – Artist, Professional, Venue and Public (see details below). Each type of member is an essential part of our community and we’ve worked hard to provide something for everyone.

Please note that all memberships will be billed annually (in US dollars) and promotional rates may change without notice. New membership types may be added, so please check this page regularly.

Artist Membership

Artists are the foundation of our community. After all, we’re all here to talk about music, right? At SoundOrbit, we’re also here to work for our Artists. With SoundOrbit Radio, TV and a host of other promotional opportunities, we’re always looking for new and different ways to get your music heard.

We are currently offering a promotional rate to artists of $245.00 per year. That’s roughly $20 a month – about the price of two beers (or one, if you live in Manhattan) but then divide that by 4 if you are a band and that equals $5's a month. Professional Memberships

We offer three different types of Professional memberships, each geared toward a different sector of the music industry: Advertising & Marketing, Production & Labels and Media & Legal. Each type of membership is designed to connect professionals to artists and vice versa, offering them opportunities to develop new strategies, concepts and applications in concert. Each also comes with tools geared toward the unique needs of each sector.

1. Advertising & Marketing

This membership is for the creative side of the music industry – the designers, marketers, make-up artists, fashion stylists – all the people involved in an artist’s public persona. Promote your services directly to them, as well as to labels and other industry professionals.

The introductory rate is $350.00 per year  for the first 200 members, after which a standard rate applies.

2. Production & Label

For producers, agents, artists’ representatives and labels, including distribution and manufacturing. Like all professional memberships, the Production & Label membership puts hundreds of new and established artists at your fingertips. We also respect your privacy – your profile is only visible if you want it to be and you only get the contact that you want to get.

The introductory rate is $575.00 per year for the first 200 members, after which standard rates apply.

3. Media & Legal

For the media and legal sectors of the entertainment industry. By bringing media and legal professionals into close contact with artists, we hope to create a series of educational alliances for a better-informed community. And like the Production & Label membership, your personal information is kept private. Other members only know what you reveal about yourself.

The introductory rate is $575.00 per year for the first 200 members, after which standard rates apply.

Venue Membership (Gig Listing)

A membership geared for the performance venue owner interested in building or enhancing their roster of artists. Be the first to find the Next Big Thing and offer your customers the hottest new acts. Access performers, promoters and labels in your own city or across the world. Book artists instantly, using our online Booking Tools. See an artist’s touring schedule. And advertise your venue to the public.

The introductory rate is $575.00 per year for the first 100 venues, after which standard rates apply.

Public Membership

As a way to broaden the SoundOrbit community, we’re offering memberships to the general public for free. While anyone can listen to our 24-hour radio broadcasts and Top Artists, watch our TV shows and read our Review section, Public Members can access Artist Profiles (and hundreds of additional tracks), buy music directly from their favorite artists via our download store. It’s a whole new level of interaction with your favorite musicians.
